Building a website in two languages is not simply a matter of translating the copy. The structure, the navigation, the SEO strategy and the user experience all need to work in both languages independently. That is what Talerion needed.
Platform used: Wix
The bilingual website design challenge
Talerion supports organisational growth by empowering leaders through in-company leadership development and wellbeing training. Their work spans both English and Spanish-speaking markets, and they needed a website that could serve both audiences properly, not a translated version of a primarily English site.
What I did
The website was designed and built with a parallel bilingual structure from the ground up, with each language version given its own navigation, content hierarchy and SEO configuration. This matters for search: a page optimised for English leadership development keywords will not rank for its Spanish equivalents unless the website is properly structured as a standalone language version.
The content and tone were also treated separately for each audience rather than directly translated, reflecting the different register and context appropriate to each market.
She has designed 2 websites for me as well as the brand design (logos, colours, script, etc...) She was able to capture exactly what I was looking for and she delivered always within the timeframe agreed. Super happy, I sincerely recommend Diopatra Design!
