The Process
1. Discover
We start by understanding your business, your audience and your priorities.
I will review any existing site and materials, ask the right questions, and help clarify what your website needs to do - now and as you grow.
This is also where we agree scope, timeline and what you will be providing versus what I will produce.
2. Plan
This phase maps out the structure of your site: user journeys, page architecture and core functionality.
Depending on the project, we may also develop user personas or a brand moodboard to align visuals and tone before design begins.
You will see and sign off on the plan before anything is designed.
3. Design
I share design mock-ups showing layout, typography, colour and content.
We refine together until it is both visually on-brand and easy to navigate. Nothing moves to build until you are happy with the design.
4. Build
I build your site on the agreed platform (eg Wix, Squarespace or WordPress), fully optimised for mobile, speed and SEO.
You will get access to a working version to test and provide feedback throughout.
5. Launch & Support
We launch once everything is in place: domains, analytics, any third-party integrations.
You will receive documentation covering your brand guidelines, how to update the site yourself and a training session.
2 weeks of post-launch support are included in every project.
6. On-going Support
Longer-term support is available if you need it, from SEO monitoring and performance tracking to new content, additional features or a full site refresh as your business evolves.
Many clients continue to work with me after launch on a monthly or quarterly basis.
