Web brand design

I work with you, collaboratively and iteratively, to shape a cohesive look and feel for your site. Your colours, logo and typography should work together, not just alongside each other, so your brand comes through clearly to the customers you want to reach.

It's not unusual for websites to grow this way - a logo updated here, a colour adjusted there - for a specific need, launch or campaign.

Each decision makes sense on it's own, but at some point, you can step back and discover your brand has become messy and unclear. And, unfortunately, your potential customers see that too and will suspect that the lack of care seeps into your product and or service offering too.

This is where Diopatra can help.

What web brand design involves

It starts with a conversation, so I can understand your business, your customers, the problems they're trying to solve, and how you help them. This is the most important part of the process - discovering what you're trying to communicate, and what your customers are actually looking for.

Step 1:

After our kick-off call, I put together a persona document, covering two or more of your typical customer types, for your review and input.

Step 2:

I create two to three mood boards reflecting what came out of that conversation and the persona work, so we're aligned on visual direction and style before anything is built.

Step 3:

Informed by the agreed mood board, I develop colour palettes, logos and typography that carry the design story through - including the smaller details that hold a site design together, like button treatments and icon style.

Step 4:

Everything is applied into your web and mobile site, whether that's part of a build I'm doing for you or handed over for your own team to implement.

Step 5:

To finish, you'll receive a web style guide - everything brought together in one handy pdf document, so you always have it for reference, or to hand to any other agency or designer you work with in future.
